1st Annual Spring Festival is Big Success

Congregation members, family, and community members alike enjoyed a beautiful (though slightly windy) afternoon on March 30 with games, music, and fellowship. The Bounce House was a big hit for kids of all ages, as were face painting and cake walks. Good publicity brought out a number of people new to Palo Cristi -- we trust we will see them again soon.

Events

Holy Week 2014

Our journey through Lent is swiftly coming to a close.  Starting on April 13, we will recall the events of arguably the most important week in history.  On Palm / Passion Sunday, we will rejoice with the people who welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem as we wave palm branches.  The cries of "Hosanna" will quickly change, and on Maundy Thursday (April 17) we will remember the Last Supper and Jesus' command to all of his disciples to love one another.  Bright and early on Easter morning (April 20 at 6 am) our youth will lead the annual outdoor Sunrise Service, followed by a stirring celebration of Jesus' resurrection at our 9:30 am Service.  Be part of it!
