To fulfill this mission, we ask the Holy Spirit to help us:

  • Share our faith stories that others may come to know God’s love
  • Maintain an ongoing commitment to Environmental Justice, Peacemaking, and Evangelism
  • Continue a strong commitment to mission outreach; participating in local, national, and international mission outreach projects

2nd Annual "Food Fight" Happening This Summer

During June and July Palo Cristi is once again engaged in an epic "Food Fight", this time with Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.
Each week both churches are collecting and weighing food for local food banks (Palo Cristi has selected Agua Fria Food Bank).
The last Sunday of each month water will also be collected.
This is a "friendly competition" but with some high stakes: in the fall the two churches will worship together, but the pastor of the church collecting the least food has to preach, and her congregation has to serve food for all.
The real winners of the Food Fight are the Food Banks and those they serve.
Summer is an important time for Arizona Food Banks since donations are down but needs are not.

Summer Worship at Palo Cristi

We are a little jealous of those who are able to be away for much of the hot weather, but want everyone to know it will be cool and comfortable at our 9:30 am worship each Sunday.
We are continuing to begin our time together with Praise Music led by our Music / Youth Director, Ted Gibson.
Watch for the return of "Cafe Worship" for one Sunday on August 10.
